Going Downhill Fast

There's Aosta reasons to head to Northern Italy, including the Aosta Valley, which we ventured to this weekend for its famous mountains. Father Pat and I went this weekend with some friends to find snow--which we found, as well as wonderful hosting from friends who introduced us to Italian hospitality, Northern style.

Only a few miles from the Swiss and French borders, we also became boarders . . .

Beautiful weather all weekend, silence as never found in the city, and an ideal way to celebrate Laetare Sunday with some true rejoicing!

Dear Avram
It's been wonderful to see your picture of your friends skiing in the Alps. I hear from Judy and Dwite that you're doing well and enjoying your study in Rome. It's been wonderful for me to get news from Judy and Dwite.
Lots of love, Grandma Diane.
