No Hurting

The center of the nation became a center of protection yesterday as Nebraska passed 44-5 a law to prevent killing unborn children who can feel pain, nrlc.org reports. The Pain Capable Unborn Child Protection Act, corresponding to research that identifies pain receptors throughout the body connected to the brain at 20 weeks, prohibits abortion following that age. This data is reflected in other prenatal care, affirms Spaulding Bach, who notes: "Doctors performing fetal surgery at and after 20 weeks now routinely use fetal anesthesia."
