The Pope doesn’t arrive till Monday. But going running this afternoon past the president’s house and the Knesset, I ran past so many papal flags it almost felt like I was back in Rome again.
The crest of the two keys of Peter were flying in the Old City as well—these shots from this morning show the familiar yellow and white banner flying intermingled with the white and blue of the Israeli flag.
