Speaking of landing on the moon, I just came across this quote from Neil Armstrong: this is from Thomas Friedman's "From Beirut to Jerusalem".
Israeli archaeologist Meir Ben-Dov was showing Neil Armstrong around Jerusalem, and when they got to the stairs leading to the Temple Mount, Armstrong asked him if they would date back to Jesus' time.
When receiving confirmation that they were steps that Jesus himself would have walked, Armstrong told Ben-Dov: "I have to tell you, I am more excited stepping on these stones than I was stepping on the moon."
For those of us who are fans of Brian Regan, the quote is doubly-classic . . .
