Treasures in Heaven. This recent article from First Things gives a good overview of the theme of sin in the Bible, as well as giving a timely (in our Lenten journey) consideration of almsgiving. Well worth reading, and perhaps another instigator in opening up the purse strings during this season of giving to others. Don’t read it if you don’t want to part with any of your money.
