Bad news from Redding. It appears the visa was pulled for Father Jovito, and so he has had to return home to the Philippines, leaving our parish short. Keep him in prayer for peace in this time of trial, and for the parish that another priest be found quickly!

Hey Padre,
Good news from Redding. Diane Dickson announced last night that Fr. Jovito will return as soon as the paperwork is in order. How long, who knows; however, it doesn't seem that it took Fr. Jess long to resolve seemingly the same issue.
More good news, Bishop W. is sending us one of the MAGNIFICENT SEVEN temporarily to cover. Father Chris, I think she said.
Let's pray Fr. Jovito returns to open doors and open arms at OLM!
