From a letter to a friend about my schedule here:
. . . I like the schedule the school has set up: two hours of grammar beginning at nine, two hours of language usage, an hour break, and then at 2:00 I continue with anther two hours of intensive study, meaning it's not a part of the standard course but you can sign up for additional tutoring, and then for the last week and a half, ending today, from 4:00-6:00 a course in Italian Cinema--also taught in Italian.
So it makes for a pretty full day! My homework in the evening is generally grammar exercises to get the hang of the new material we've been learning.
Because of the schedule of breakfast at the house, I generally concelebrate an evening Mass at one of the many churches here. Lunch I buy on the street, and dinner generally I eat at home from groceries I've purchased.

Wait...from the groceries you purchased - is the #1 item on that list GELATO? I'm just asking for Zoe, she's curious! SMILE.
Gelato is definitely a staple here! Yesterday after going to the Galleria I stopped by a Sicilian gelateria, where they also have great fruit granita . . . what's not to like?
