We didn't order coffee today but we did get some of the classic strong Italian brew when we were hosted by the Cappuchins in Mersin for Mass and lunch. We've turned back westward in our travels. Yesterday was our easternmost point when we hit Haran.
Our delicious lunch was prepared by local families--including some young adults who had converted from Islam to Christianity, a courageous step.
The grounds of the church were beautiful.
September seems to have plentiful flowers in Turkey:
