Harah! Haran!

Ur.

Abraham came from Ur.

But when God called him to a new vocation and a new land, he was in Haran with his father and nephew.

So we figured it was a good call to head there as well.








Some things look like the could be 4,000 years old . . . well, not the power lines.




Genesis 12 has the call of Abraham. You may be called to read it today--

We climbed to the top of the hill that now has a ruined fortress, and there we also read Genesis 29, recounting how Abraham's son returned to Haran years later.
