Wall to Wall

So the man went to the new aquarium, famous for its dolphin, porpoise, and carp shows. Curious about the 'carp show', since he'd never heard of one before, he went to see the event. The trainer asked for his wallet to use in a demonstration. The man gave it to him, and the trainer, holding it over the pool, called up one of the carp. Amazingly, the carp balanced the wallet on its nose, and holding it over the water, swam halfway across the pool, where it transferred it to a second carp, who then returned it to the trainer.

Amazed, the man realized that he had just witnessed . . .

Carp-to-carp walleting--

That wasn't what we saw today--but we did see a lot of carpets! Having had plenty of classes ourselves, we decided we still hadn't had enough school. So we went to visit a weaving school, where women learned to make classical Turkish carpets.

From inside the school.

The school's motto: Take It and Weave It! Actually I don't know what the motto was, because I can't read any Turkish.

While the majority of carpets here were made from wool, they also spun silk.

You can see the little cocoons--

And some of the rough product:

The carpets didn't fly, but the time sure did, as we took in all the colors:

Wall-to-wall Carpeting

Definitely, we could tell this place was on a roll:

Or several.

And one last shot from outside as we left:
