Wednesday the 24th was our last day in Turkey, so Tuesday we slipped in a visit to the Archeological Museum in Istanbul, one of the largest in the Middle East.
The Gates of Babylon were there:

Guarding the gates of the city of Nebuchadnezzar were creatures not seen these days . . .

All in all, the museum was pretty dead:
Which, among other things, gave us a glimpse of what the afterlife looks like:
At least in a Greco-Roman vision.
