Getting Things Started

Only about 300 miles north of Jerusalem the thriving city of Antioch became an early center of Christianity, boasting Saint Peter himself as its first bishop.

Up in the hills above the city you find the small grotto dedicated to Saint Peter.

Having celebrated Mass the day before at Saint Paul's in Tarsus, today we celebrated Mass at Saint Peter's in Antioch.

Being able to pray at the fonts of Christianity also gives an opportunity to pray that new disciples emerge in that same land today.
